Ahmad Compaoré's music is just like him, eclectic and without borders! Musician of freedom, Ahmad quite naturally mixes jazz, soul, funk and electro and he enjoys the most extreme experiences in alternative and improvised music. He also teaches drums and contemporary percussions in his studio La Boîte à Musique at the Friche in Marseilles.
Marc Ribot, American guitarist and composer, is an essential musician of the New-York downtown scene. His fame has grown as the artist increased musical crossings. Marc Ribot enjoys great success and wide recognition within the improvised music field.
Jamaaladeen Tacuma ia an American jazz and funk bassist. All together artist, producer, performer, arranger and innovative bass player, he has performed with musicians from all over the world!
This exceptional line-up is initiated by Ahmad Compaoré for the "Festival Jazz des Cinq Continents".
