1st edition of the "Meltin' Art" festival, organised by the association Orizon Sud.
Exclusively for the festival, this eminent artist will gather several friend musicians on stage and propose a unique set to the Marseilles audience in a celebration of African rhythms.
Of Egyptian and Burkinabé origins, drummer, percussionist and composer Ahmad Compaoré currently prepares his new project as a leader, mix of afro grooves, unbridled jazz, soul, funk, Indian and oriental influences. Free from boundaries, he equally enjoys the most extreme experiences in alternative and improvised music, jazz, fusion and world music.
